BMW has officially announced that it plans to produce a fully electric version of the three-door hatchback Mini. The car will go into production in 2019, and the battery electric drivetrain will be produced at BMW's Bavarian facilities, then transported to Plant Oxford where it will join the cars. For the first time starting in 2019 Ford Motor Co. will export vehicles from China to the U.S.. The automaker plans to move the production of its Ford Focus small car from U.S. to China. Analysts are lowering estimates for 2017 vehicle sales after five months of industrywide deliveries declining from a year earlier.
