Volkswagen will launch a new compact SUV internally called the "Volks-SUV" or People's SUV. It will be produced for the US, China and other markets outside of Europe. Hyundai recalls 43,941 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe sports crossovers. Other 8,456 vehicles in Canada were also recalled for the possible defect. There were no injuries or accidents associated with the defect or incidents where the defect was discovered while a vehicle was in motion.
