Co, nothing saved the market from crashing down. The total industry sales were at 1.44 million vehicles, which is down 0.5% for a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 17.76 million from 18.05 million in September 2015. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said it is recalling 1.9 million vehicles worldwide for an airbag defect that is linked to three deaths and five injuries. The aim of this recall is to resolve a defect that may prevent deployment of airbags and seat-belt pretensioners in some crashes.
