  • Black Friday deals will help boost November car sales
    24 Nov 2017

Black Friday deals might be able to save the situation of car sales this month. According to an industry consultant and car shopping website, the U.S. new vehicle sales will rise 3.5% in November.  The company estimated that November U.S. sales would be 1.4 million new cars and trucks, for a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 17.8 million. The company also forecasts that 2.9 million used vehicles will be sold in November 2017. "It also doesn't hurt that automakers are starting to really sweeten the deals to clear out lingering 2017s and end this year on a high ...

  • U.S. rejects Ford petition to delay airbag recall of 3 million cars
    21 Nov 2017

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Friday it was rejecting a petition by Ford to delay recall of about 3 million cars with potentially defective Takata airbag inflators. The agency said it did not find the request by the second largest U.S. automaker to defer a recall until additional testing was conducted "reasonable under the circumstances or supported by the testing and data it has collected to date."  Takata inflators can explode with excessive force, unleashing metal shrapnel inside cars and trucks. At least 18 deaths and 180 injuries world...

Tesla has not received reports of any issues or accidents relating to the problem, it said. “We will be conducting a voluntary recall to inspect the affected vehicles and confirm wh...

    03 Oct 2017

All the cars sold in Japan by Nissan in the last 3 years will be recalled by the carmaker. If you want to know what has been the issue for this car recall, then you need to know that technically there are no issues, but the final vehicle inspections were not performed by authorized technicians.  The final number of the cars being recalled is under1.2 million. Nissan produced around 560,000 vehicles in Japan last year to North America, Europe and other markets. Spokesman Nick Maxfield said there was no difference in quality between cars made in Japan for the domestic market and those ...
