A new company is planning on opening a closed-course testing facility for autonomous vehicles, we’re talking about The Toyota Research Institute. New car registration figures for March reveal a sharp drop in sales. The number of sales is 15.7 percent lower compared to the same month last year. A big part of that fall is due to bumper sales in March 2017, as drivers flooded the dealers to beat the then-new road tax system. Tesla said on Friday, 30th March 2018 that Tesla Model X that was involved in a fatal crash in California last week had to activate its Autopilot system. Tesla also mentioned that the logs from the accident showed that the driver did not take any action before the crash occurred despite all the warnings to put his hands on the wheel.
