Car Repair fails - brilliance or stupidity?

There, I Fixed It! guys don't disappoint us and continue to cheer us inventing new ways of fixing things, including cars. We all know that a visit to a good mechanic garage can cost you a small fortune and sometimes try to be economy-wise and save some money, fixing the broken things ourselves. You can nail it or you can totally mess it up, depending on the level of your creativity and tinkering skills.

Thanks to many fail enthusiasts on the web, who enjoy sharing the photos of the unusual situations they've seen, the Internet is full of pictures of ridiculous car hacks, fails or quick fixes of automobiles that have gone wrong.

General Motors promised us other things but that’s how it all turned to be, even if it said it will invest $1 billion in U.S. factories now it announced to temporarily cut off 1,100 workers in May as its Lansing Delta Township assembly plant in Michigan shifts production to Tennessee. Last year it added 800 jobs at its spring hill, Tennessee plant to build the new version of GMC Acadia SUV.  The Lansing plant will continue building the Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse after it retools for a month. • FCA's restated sales show some big swings
    25 Jul 2017

A review of restated Fiat Chrysler sales at the model level points to a company that either didn't accurately know what it was selling month to month or was playing fast and loose with its fleet sales. In its unprecedented restatement a year ago, which revealed that its then-vaunted streak of year-over-year sales gains actually had ended in 2013, FCA US downplayed the differences between what it had historically reported as its monthly sales and what a new reporting methodology showed was actually occurring.  Let's take a deeper look at the figures. FCA and its dealers report...
