Fans of cars, and in particular luxury car lovers – today's news to you. One can choose the train to Times Square and spend the time smashed and uncomfortable among a massive crowd of strangers in the freezing cold. Or you could chose the best luxury car of the year, go for a ride and paint the town in red!
The year 2015 has placed face to face two of the greatest titans in car industry: BMW and Lexus. The German company claimed most sales but this turns to be not enough. Recent data shows that Lexus might get the upper hand in this one, in fact, Lexus has turned up to be the winner.
All of the above is due to the fact that the variance is attributable to the number of registrations reported by states as opposite to the number of sales reported by dealers. The reason for the difference is attributable to the variance in sales and registrations. Those numbers show Lexus on top with 340,392 and BMW at 335,259(5,133 fewer) and Mercedes at 334,692(5,700 fewer). In 2015 the difference between sales reporting and registration reporting has been estimated as following: BMW: 10,764; Lexus: 4,209 Mercedes-Benz: 8,396
However, with new models and new technology on the way, BMW has all the power to regain control and to take over the first place, but know, Lexus corporation will not be the one to give up the crown so easy.
