In 2014, Maserati sold about 36,500 vehicles worldwide, increasing the sales by 136% in comparison with 2013 year. Such impressive results have been achieved thanks to sales of sports sedan E-Class Maserati Ghibli, the new flagship Quattroporte Executive 6th generation, and exclusive luxury models of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio. The total number of cars sold by dealers - 23,500 Ghibli, 9500 of Quattroporte, GranTurismo and GranCabrio models around 3500 pieces.
The US market once again confirmed its status as the largest market of Maserati. In 2014, an increase of 110% compared with 2013 year, the US market was sold 14,690 cars, and a bulk of models Ghibli and Quattroporte, equipped with twin-turbo engine capacity of 410 hp.
The second largest market is China, with the general terms of sales units in 9400 and 148% growth compared to 2013 year. The Best selling at the Chinese market have become the same Quattroporte and Ghibli, but with rear wheel drive and a twin-turbo engine producing 330 hp.
