Mercedes-Benz's global brand sales reached a record value this September increasing 16 percent, that constitutes 188,444 cars.
It was the Mercedes brand's 31st consecutive month of record sales. The main contribution to this impressive result comes from the Chinese market demand: Mercedes brand deliveries in China rose to 38,663 in September.
Daimler said global deliveries in the first nine months were boosted by a 60 percent increase in sales of the new Mercedes C class while continued strong demand for compact cars helped the brand as deliveries of the A class, B class, GLA, CLA and CLA Shooting Brake rose 27 percent through September.
