Question 04/16/2015

I am interested in a car that only provide post-inspection option, is there any ways to get its condition report and carfax report before I bid?

Answer 04/20/2015

First, regarding Carfax, if you would be interested in obtaining a Carfax report, you may contact the seller and request from him/her to provide you with one if it is available. Additionally, Repokar partners up with Autocheck which can run a report on the vehicle you are interested in purchasing, for a nominal fee. The Post-sale Inspection option is a really beneficial tool which Repokar provides, where an independent third party performs a complete inspection of the vehicle for you, so that you may protect your investment.

Question 04/16/2015

What activities will repokar do to verify the car posted by sellers?

Answer 04/20/2015

At the time of registration Repokar verifies both the seller's personal information first, and also his/her Sale Permit File. Furthermore, in order to verify truth-in-advertising, Repokar offers a great tool for safeguarding your investment: the Post-sale Inspection, which is performed by an independent third party, thus ensuring an impartial and truthful reporting on the vehicle's condition, which can then be compared to the initial seller's information.

Question 04/16/2015

Besides the pay for the bid price and tax, what else should I pay for the car? Any required insurance?

Answer 04/21/2015

Each auction is case specific. In some cases you may have to pay for the transportation cost if that is an issue the seller has manifested. If you requested a Post-sale Inspection, this will be something you may need to pay for, as well. However, apart from these specific items once you have closed the transaction, there are no hidden charges at Repokar. Any local taxes, registration and/or insurance will depend on your local regulations regarding motor vehicles. We recommend you check those first, before you take your new vehicle on the road.

Question 04/15/2015

Will it happen that the seller notes say the title is clear but found salvage after buying?

Answer 04/15/2015

If a Seller states that the Title is Clear and it is actually Salvaged, that is plain Fraud and is grounds for Cancelling the transaction and even criminal charges.

Question 04/15/2015

If repokar doesn't guarantee the accuracy of the seller notes, what can repokar guarantee?

Answer 04/15/2015

Repokar provides tools for the seller and buyer to complete a sale. In order to guarantee the accuracy of the seller's notes, the buyer may use the pre-sale or post-sale inspection tools/options which are done by an independent third party, thus guaranteeing the veracity of the seller's claims and covering your investment.
