  • Tesla Model 3 Production On Track To Hit 8,000 A Week?
    20 Aug 2018

The Tesla Model 3 has been plagued with well-publicized production issues over the last few months. However, it seems the situation is finally improving. Back in June, the carmaker met its target of producing 5,000 Model 3s in the final week of the month.  Musk confirmed that this production target was met for at least two weeks in July during a financial call with analysts. The company says it is not aware of any related injuries or accidents. Specifically, the recall affects certain Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2015 t...

  • Your Car May Get A Tariff Price Increase, Even If Built In The US
    20 Jul 2018

Soon, it will be very important to know where your next car was assembled, because the US is in the midst of a massive trade war. Just because your car was built in the US, doesn’t make it safe from tariffs. As Automotive News reports, automakers may be forced to spread price increases from tariffs across their entire model range.  Many people seem to be confused about how US-built cars could possibly be affected by Trump’s tariffs. Automakers plan to minimize the impact of the tariffs by spreading out price increases across their lineup. Some automakers such as Jaguar, L...
